All public or non-public documents issued in Denmark must have the proper legalization, prior to be sent to Argentina, in order to be valid there.
For public documents, issued by Danish authorities, it is required the APOSTILLE.
In this case, no further legalization, done by the Argentine Consulate, is required.
Denmark is part of the Apostille Convention since January 1, 2007.
For more information about the Apostille please contact the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs-Legalization Department
Telephone: 33 92 12 33
E-mail: legalisering@um.dk
For non-public documents, issued by private individuals or private companies, such as powers of attorney and contracts, must first be legalized by a Danish authority, such as a notary public or a chamber of commerce, before they can be legalized with the Apostille by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
For documents directly related to export activities, such as:
- Product Lists
- Invoices
- Export Licences
- Movement Certificates
- Health Certificates
- Certificates of Origin
- Freesale Certificates
If there are documents issued by a private company, first they must have a legalization at a Chamber of Commerce, or at the Confederation of Danish Industries, then get the legalization at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a general stamp, and finally the legalization at the Consular Section of the Embassy of Argentina in Denmark.
