The Argentine Embassy Participated in a Seminar on the EU–Mercosur Trade Agreement

The Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Denmark participated in the seminar “EU–Mercosur Interim Trade Agreement”, held within the framework of the Latin America Business Forum, a joint initiative of Danish Industry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, and Copenhagen Business School.

During the event, Ambassador Julio Mercado took part as a speaker alongside diplomatic representatives and leading figures from the business sector, highlighting the opportunities offered by the agreement between the European Union and Mercosur to deepen trade, attract investment, and strengthen economic cooperation between the two regions.

The seminar provided a valuable platform for exchanging views on the agreement’s potential and its impact on strategic sectors, within the context of one of the most significant economic integration initiatives on the international agenda.

Argentina’s participation reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to promoting economic and commercial ties between Argentina and Denmark, as well as to strengthening relations between South America and Europe.
