In the context of the celebrations marking the 216th anniversary of the May Revolution, the Royal Guard of Denmark performed the traditional March of San Lorenzo at Fredensborg Palace, in a gesture of special significance that marked the beginning of the commemorative activities organized by the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Denmark.

The performance of one of the most emblematic pieces of Argentina’s historical and musical heritage constituted an emotional tribute to the national day and a demonstration of the close ties of friendship between Argentina and the Kingdom of Denmark, within the framework of 185 years of diplomatic relations between both countries.

The Embassy expresses its gratitude to the Director of the Royal Guard band, Eric Enstrøm, as well as to Jesper Friis, who coordinated this initiative.
